Piper McCormick built a wall around her heart and for a good reason. Tackling a difficult subject, Anne Greene tastefully and thoughtfully wrote a story that has given me a new perspective of surviving a terrible ordeal. Jake Connors is the perfect match, just the man who Piper needed in her life to help her heal. Piper was a courageous young woman who came to realize that God can take bad things and use them for good. The romance and suspense in the story made this a quick read.
