Book Description:
My Review:
Sarah Summers has had to be the one sister who has kept things financially solvent for the rest of the family when their father died. She feels extremely responsible to take care of everyone. Even if that is at the expense of her own happiness. Callum Henshall is a man who looks for the good in circumstances and people.
It was so rewarding to see Callum not give up on Sarah and the chance they have at love. I had been hoping that I would get to see them have their own HEA. Ms. Klassen did a terrific job in meeting all the expectations I had for Sarah and Callum. I loved seeing Sarah let go of the control that she thought she needed and to trust that God would care for her family.
Things to love:
continuing story
2nd chances
Effie
family
mistletoe
snowball fight
all things Scottish
Dance lessons
Luckenbooth brooch
faith thread
I highly recommend this book and all of the others in the On Devonshire Shores series. In order to enjoy this story to its fullest, you will want to read the other books in order.
I received I received a gifted copy of the book with no obligation to write a positive review. All opinions are my own.
